Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Lotus Ludo ("we", "us", the "Platform") governing your use of lotusludo.com and our applications. By creating an account, or by using the Platform, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Platform.

Please read them together with our Rules & Regulations, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Fair Play Policy, Coin Purchase Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of this agreement.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER to use the Platform. Your date of birth is verified at registration and an under-18 date is refused.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
  • You must not be barred from using the Platform under the laws that apply to you, and you are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful where you live.
  • We may refuse, suspend or close any account at our discretion where these Terms are broken.

2. Your Account

  • Registration requires a real email address and mobile number. Your email must be verified AND your account approved by an administrator before you can enter the app.
  • One person may hold ONE account. Additional accounts used to enter a competition more than once, to farm rewards, or to evade a restriction, will be removed.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity carried out through your account.
  • You must not share, sell, buy, rent or transfer an account.
  • You must not impersonate any person or organisation, including our staff.
  • Notify us immediately at support@lotusludo.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, bully, threaten or intimidate any person.
  • Post hate speech or discriminate on the basis of religion, caste, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, disability or any other protected characteristic.
  • Post sexually explicit material, or any sexual content involving a minor.
  • Promote violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide.
  • Publish another person's private information without their consent.
  • Send spam, mass unsolicited messages or repetitive advertising.
  • Attempt any scam, fraud, phishing or theft of accounts or payment details.
  • Upload content you do not own or have permission to use.
  • Use any modified client, script, bot or automated tool.
  • Interfere with, overload, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or any account.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform, except where the law expressly permits it.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

4. Fair Play

  • Game outcomes, including dice rolls, are generated on OUR SERVERS and cannot be influenced by your device.
  • Games that cost coins to join, and all tournament matches, use pure randomness with no adjustment.
  • Collusion, multiple accounts, account sharing, boosting, deliberate stalling or disconnecting, and the repeated exploitation of a bug are prohibited.
  • We may reverse any advantage obtained unfairly, withhold or reclaim prizes, and suspend or close the accounts involved.
  • Our Fair Play Policy sets this out in full and forms part of these Terms.

5. Virtual Coins and Purchases

  • Coins are a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use a virtual in-app item. They are NOT money, NOT a deposit and NOT an investment.
  • Virtual coins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money. They cannot be transferred to another person or platform.
  • Coins may be purchased only through the official purchase screen. Purchases made through any other channel are unauthorised, carry no protection, and may result in closure of the account.
  • You must be the authorised holder of the payment method used, or have the holder's permission.
  • Prices, bundles and bonus offers may change at any time. The price shown when you confirm is the price that applies.
  • Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Because coins are delivered instantly and consumed digitally, purchases are generally non-refundable once credited, except as set out there or as required by law.
  • If your account is closed for breaking these Terms, any remaining coin balance is forfeited.
  • We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any virtual item or feature. Where we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will act reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

6. Tournaments and Rewards

  • Tournament entry, format, qualification and prizes are described on each tournament's page and are governed by our Tournament Rules.
  • Where joining costs coins, they are held on registration. If a tournament is cancelled, or your entry is not approved, they are returned in full.
  • Rewards are awarded in virtual coins and are credited once the tournament is confirmed complete. Virtual coins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money.
  • A player disqualified for breaking these Terms forfeits any prize.
  • Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of the match concerned.

7. Your Content

  • You keep ownership of the content you create and upload.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and transmit your content, solely for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for backup, legal or moderation purposes, and except where the content has been shared with others who retain it.
  • You confirm you have the rights necessary to grant this licence.
  • We may remove content that breaks these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

8. Moderation and Enforcement

  • We may remove content, restrict features, mute, suspend or permanently close an account that breaks these Terms.
  • Action is proportionate to the seriousness of the breach and whether it is repeated.
  • Serious matters may be referred to law enforcement.
  • You may appeal a decision through our Contact page. Our Safety & Moderation Policy explains the process.

9. Availability, Changes and Interruption

  • We aim to keep the Platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We may change, suspend or withdraw features, or perform maintenance, at any time.
  • The Platform depends on internet connectivity and third-party infrastructure that we do not control.

10. Third-Party Services and Advertising

  • The Platform uses third-party services including payment providers, hosting and real-time voice infrastructure, analytics and advertising, and may display advertisements including those served by Google AdSense.
  • We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party site or advertiser.
  • Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Intellectual Property

  • The Platform, its software, design, artwork, logos and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law.
  • You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
  • Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

12. Disclaimers

  • The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
  • The Platform is provided for ENTERTAINMENT. Nothing on it is professional, financial or legal advice.
  • We do not guarantee any particular result, ranking, reward or outcome.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or virtual items.
  • Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum permitted by applicable law if that is greater.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your unlawful use of the Platform.

15. Ending This Agreement

  • You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how deletion works.
  • Coins remaining on an account you close voluntarily are not refundable.
  • We may suspend or close your account where you break these Terms, where we are required to by law, or where continuing would create a risk to other users or to us.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — continue to apply afterwards.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It forms part of these Terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Where a change is significant we will tell you through the Platform or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

18. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours as part of a reorganisation, merger or acquisition.
  • These Terms, together with the policies referred to in them, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
